Juniors Considering Declaring

I recently posted an interview that I had with Georgia safety Reshad Jones where Jones revealed to me that he is seriously considering leaving for the NFL after this season. Jones is one of the top safety prospects in the country and is a potential first round pick. I’ve also heard lately that Wisconsin running back John Clay is considering leaving school for the draft. Iowa offensive tackle Bryan Bulaga has not made a decision yet, Rennie Curran also hasn’t made a decision, although he is considering leaving school, and there are as many as seven Florida Gators that could leave early for the draft. Illinois’ Arrellious Benn is hoping for a strong finish to the season so that he might have a good chance at going high if he decides to declare. As of now Oklahoma running back DeMarco Murray is reportedly leaning towards staying in school for his senior season.

- Citadel wide receiver Andre Roberts is an intriguing player in this year’s draft. Despite playing at a school where football isn’t its main focus, Roberts has established himself as one of the better senior receiver prospects in the 2010 Draft.

- Tulane wide receiver Jeremy Williams has received invitations to both the East-West Shrine Game as well as the Senior Bowl. Williams is one of the more under-the-radar wideouts in this year’s class.
